gs208 with Cat5e Cables maxing out at 100...

I have a GS208 connected to my Fios Quantum Router - using cat5e cables (3 Foot) and I am not getting more tha 100mb (not nearly the 1gb i should get) If i got directly to the router with the same cables I can get the 1gb - but as soon as i put on the routher maxes at 100mb..

The test includes only single device (on whole network) connected to router - or router to switch to device.  Cat 5e cables..

Thanks for any help why i can't get it up to 1gb
