Help with setup older router as acess point/extender

Problem with this is that if the laptop doesn't get a signal in the RV, neither will the router. RVs are big faraday cages in that they're made from metal. Which does a great job of blocking wifi.
If you look at most rv's, they have some type of external antenna setup to get a connection into the RV. Whether its a cellular connection or a router with some type of internal/external broadcast ability.

I had an almond securifi https://www.securifi.com/rg/softwareupdate-almondplus that worked perfectly. The menu on that device got messed up and I can't click on letters or numbers to connect it again. That is why I know the older router with the right setup would work. The wireless of the netgear will reach my Zytel wireless modem in the house..

You can always look at some other posts about it. Thats an very old router. I haven't messed with one in years.
You might be better off picking up a half decent wireless extender that is designed for the purpose you're looking for

Thanks but those links don't explain anything and menus don't seem to match what this router has. I figured it has 5G so it had capabilities.

If you don't see any Extender or Repeater mode options with in the routers WEB UI pages, then you can presume this modem router doesn't support those features.
