You need a router that supports wisp mode.

That route doesn't support wisp mode.
Netgear made one years ago but its out of date.
I'd recommend looking for travel routers or even just searching for a router with wisp mode

I've only used ddwrt on a r7000 and that was a long time ago. so I'm not a good reference for that. You'd have to check the ddwrt forums.

I have found a bin file designed for that model router unfortunately it has to be done through a Linux terminal window so a steep learning curve ahead.
I’ll try through Debian see how I go.
Not sure maybe I can convert it to an img file on a virtual CD then load through windows.
Anyway could keep me entertained for some hours.
