How install Netgear Genie for R6300v2 router?

I just tried it with my pc.

no issues downloading it.
Try a different web browser.
also, you don't have the use the genie to access the router. You can log into it using the browser.
Thank you very much for your help. It worked this time and I think the issue was that my computer wasn't giving me a message that it was a rar file and needed to be unpacked. Thanks again. :)
