How to improve my home wifi network
Good morning everybody, I would like to know if my old modem router D6200 can be extended by connecting two wifi extenders to my home network. Right now I have just one EX6150 working as wifi e...

You're caught in a catch22. Brick blocks wifi really well. Which causes issues with extenders AND wireless mesh systems.
the best option? Bite the bullet and run ethernet or use coax MoCa adapters.

Thanks for the reply. I fully agree with you. Each extender must be connected with the router; no daisy chain.
This means D6200 can handle two extenders; am I right? of course when properly connected.

It should be able to.
I'm not a fan of using more than 1 extender but it does work and I've done it.
I usually tell people to avoid the hassle of having that many ssids and just going with a mesh system but the choice is yours

First of all; I would like to thank you for the time and effort spent in answering my post.
I agree with you. I would avoid to buy a second extender but, to buy a brand new mesh system would cost me much more than just an extender. My house is quite wide (180sqm each floor for a total of three floors plus a 90 sqm terrace) and it is made of thick stone walls so I am not able to cover everything with just a wifi router and one extender. How could I configure a mesh system? Would you suggest a possible solution?

Hi everybody,
I would like to just summarize and conclude the discussion about how to improve my home wifi network. At the end I decided to step out from catch22 and to buy another extender EX6120. My home network now works perfectly and all corners of my house are connected.
D6200 router is handling EX6150 for the west corner and EX6120 is covering the east corner.
Thanks to all of you for the support and encouragement
