       Ok.

       Nope.  A wireless access point is all-LAN; it acts a as a network
    switch, with wireless capability.  The WAN/Internet port of the
    WNDR3700v2 is part of its router functions, and should be ignored.

    That's written for a C6300, but the steps are about the same for any
    other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP option,
    including yours.  But, other than the WAN/LAN port error, the rest
    sounds ok to me.
