How to setup router as AP
I have a WNDR3700v2 that I want to use as an access point only. I have an an Ubiquiti EdgeRouter-X (ER-X) that I'm using to load balance 2 internet connections. I want the ER-Xto take care of DHCP ...

Nope. A wireless access point is all-LAN; it acts a as a network
switch, with wireless capability. The WAN/Internet port of the
WNDR3700v2 is part of its router functions, and should be ignored.For one step-by-step, see:

That's written for a C6300, but the steps are about the same for any
other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP option,
including yours. But, other than the WAN/LAN port error, the rest

Thanks. I moved the cable from the WAN port to a LAN port, then set my Netgear router's IP in the LAN settings to 192.168.42.2. Everything is working now.
