Hard part about power supplies is they can usually supply a voltage until a load put on them.
Don't suppose you have a different device around with a matching power supply (same voltage and polarity, can have higher amperage) that you could test it with?
there is also a power on/off botton on the back. have you tried that a couple times? Maybe its having issues.

Thanks for your response. I unfortunately do not have a matching power supply. I did try to power on/off many times to no avail. Not much I can do at this point but replace it.

have you checked the power supply? Just to see if its appying voltage at all?
