how to turn on ap mode.
i have a n600 netgear wireless router. i am trying to hook up my hiku shopping tool, and the company suggested turning off the firewall to see if it would connect. i think it is the hiku itself. ...
AP mode is a setting in Advanced Setup but I have doubts that enabling it will help. Routers by default do not block anything in the outgoing direction, which is the direction that probably needs to be opened for something like a shopping tool. It would be very unusual for a shopping tool to require a port to be opened in the incoming direction.
