I forgot how to turn off WiFi
My Netgear router uses the Netgrear genie software. It is tied to Firmware version V2.02.23. I used to run it with the WiFi off, as I prefer a wired connection. The two WiFi lights were off since...
In the light of day, I closely examined the Advanced menu items in Genie. I discovered "Enable wireless gateway radio." Unclicking those two boxes shut off the WiFi. Job done!
BTW, mine is a C3700 router, which the Associated Products field prevented me from entering., perhaps because it isn't being supported now. Not cool...

Possibly because the C3700 is not a router and you were in the wrong section.
Your device is a cable modem,/router:

The C3700 is pretty old, from, 2014, but it does have a wifi on/off switch. The second one down from the top.
