Internet connection problem

Recently my Samsung smart TV has ceased connecting to the internet via either 2GXT or 5GXT.  Signal strength is excellent. 

TV can connect to internet via Router's 2.4 (quite weak) link 

My tablet has no problem connecting to internet via either XT link rate when adjacent to the TV

I probably should update firmware - but can't figure out why I can't connect to extender using ip address as per router of 192.168.1.2 to attend to this.

Are there any diagnostics available that I can run?

Any guidance will be much appreciated.

  • Power cycle your wifi router and then try connecting again to the desired wifi. See if that fixes it, sometimes something simple like that can solve those issues.
