Is there any router that can be turned off automatically ?

Any routers out there that can be turned off remotely or at a specific time?

When I google it is mostly talking about turning off remote access.

What I want is the ability to turn off the wifi remotely or at a set time at night.

It's okay if I have to turn it on manually by going back to the router.

The idea is to turn off the signals emitted, not just turn off the internet. (aka the modem)

They have to be compatible with Xfinity and attached are a few that work with Xfinity

TIA !!

another option is just a timed switch that turns the router on/off at a set time.

Or even just push the wifi on/off button for 2 seconds.

It might help if you said what you want to achieve with this.

Do you really want the router to turn off and on or do you want something else to happen?

For example, do you want to save energy? Turn the router's LEDs off at night? Keep the kids off the Internet? Something else?

Many Netgear routers have a "schedule" feature to turn the wifi on and off. But why do you want to do that?
