It now works
R6020 — AC750 "Somehow' my router login changed from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1 -- weird. I'm not going to fiddle around resetting it factory defaults. I wish I knew how to change it back but oh well...

What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
Something to be aware of is that R6020 isn't gigabit capable. And its pretty lower performing as its as base model as it can get.
If you subscribe to speeds over 100mbps, its bottlenecking your network.
Might be worth checking into upgrading to something gigabit capable.

Maybe a router in front of the NG router that uses 192.168.1.1 already so the NG router will change to 10.x to avoid conflict as both routers can't use 192.168.1.1 at the same time.
