It now works
R6020 — AC750 "Somehow' my router login changed from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1 -- weird. I'm not going to fiddle around resetting it factory defaults. I wish I knew how to change it back but oh well...

What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
Something to be aware of is that R6020 isn't gigabit capable. And its pretty lower performing as its as base model as it can get.
If you subscribe to speeds over 100mbps, its bottlenecking your network.
Might be worth checking into upgrading to something gigabit capable.

And that's the wired speed, let alone the wifi.
I mention it because people turn up here expecting their "gigabit" router to deliver that speed for wireless collections. That is just not going to happen.
You can get wifi faster than 100 Mbps. But not on this router, because it can't talk to Internet faster than that.
Most modern modems will come with a LAN output of 1000 Mbps, which is wasted on the R6020.
Even with Internet slower than 100 Mbps, the R6020 will nor handle local traffic faster speed than that.
All in all, a bit of a tortoise on the router scene.
