Just bought a used nighthawk ac1750, & can't do a factory reset

The model is r6700v3. I bought it used, the guy said he installed a 3rd party firmware. I have obviously used the reset button on the back, with no luck. I can't even access the web browser UI. Is there any other way to factory reset it?

    Id the owner say what version of 3rd party FW that was loaded on it? DD-WRT, OpenWRT, ExpressVPN? 

    Would need to consult the mfr of the 3rd party FW on it's reset and any processes to get the router back to Stock NG FW. 

    NG doesn't support routers with 3rd party FW loaded.
