Keep getting "end of life" emails and cannot opt out.
So, apparently I used to have a router (perhaps?) and I am getting emails to an old address (but still occasionally used)... But there's no 'opt out' and I've tried to login to Netgear.com with that ...
I'd be suspicious of a scam. Reason why is those emails tend to be only 1 or 2 emails. They tend to say "your device is going to be end of life" and then another one saying "your device is now end of life". I've had quite a few devices with netgear an only gotten 1-2 for each device. I'd not mess with those emails anymore and just mark them spam
I share your skepticism, but all links go correctly to netgear. It's definitely a netgear official email
Then I'd just mark it as spam or see if there's an unsubscribe at the bottom
If I mark it spam all netgear email will be spam. And there's no opt out (unsubscribe).
