Laptop switches between access point & router

Hi there, I have a RBR50 access point & satellite in place. The issue is, that my laptop keeps switching its connection between the AP & the satellite even though the signal strength of the access point is far better then the one of the satellite. This is especially annoying when it happens during videocalls when they break up every while and then due to wesi signal strengths after random switches.
Any idea? Best Alex
