OK, I found the solution by myself.
Forget the tftp stuff...
You just need to type in the browser the following URL, when connected via wired connection: http://192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm
That's it!
But remains the issue of the tab adv. which is not clickable, which drove me to this question on this board...

Thx anyway.

Hi,
of course I did that... But ufortunately, the router boots up and same thing happens : no way to get the "advanced" ("avancé" in French) button,
This is due to this version of the firmware.
You might reproduce same behaviour by using a Windows PC running Windows 10 in French language.
It looks like the interface language, when in French especially, cannot allow this "advanced" button to be "clickable"...
Thanks for advice.

Use the TFTP method. You may follow the instructions from the link below.
Reinstall the firmware on a router without the setup CD recovery tool

tftp method as explained does not work.
I cannot see a 69 UDP/TCP port on this box...
The open TCP ports are 23 (telnet), 53 (DNS), 80 (http), 3333 and 5555
Any clue ?
