log in to router settings
I have a model 6400v2 AC1750. When I try to login to router settings I get this message: Router response timed out.I tried rebooting the router/reset router, nothing seems to work.

what are all the led's on the router showing? (color, blinking/solid)
Are devices working? (able to use internet)
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
are you trying to log in using its ip address or the default "routerlogin" address?

What do the LEDs on the router look like?
- bt1527Dec 18, 2021AspirantAll lights are blue and flashing. By the way I have internet access. Just can’t login to router settings

Check the bit in the manual Troubleshoot with the LEDs.
A flashing power LED is usually a sign of broken firmware, which is what you would expect after interrupting a firmware update.
That is one reason why you cannot access the browser graphical user interface (GUI) and the settings.
Is the Internet access from the modem in front of the router? If so, that does not tell us anything about the state of the router.
What comes out of the router?
You never did answer the question from plemans about the modem/gateway in front of the router. R6400v2 is the router. Not the modem.
