Hello,
Thank you very much for your help.
A description of my installation is:
-Internet from the grid via optical fiber to the internet box NB6VAC-FXC-r1.
-3 port of the box are used with Ethernet cable to printer, computer…
-1 port is linked with a long Ethernet cable to another part of the house where my “problem” is.
-the long Ethernet cable comes to the netgear.
-the wifi of the netgear is working fine pour phone, laptop…
-The Ethernet port of the netgear are working well for laptop, but not for the tv box (this box is provided with the internet box described before from my internet provider).
Please note that when I plug the long Ethernet cable directly to the tv box it is working.
The red of the tv box is DEC FIX STB7.
Thank you

This suggests that you have a router sitting in front of a router.
Google seems to agree with that because the NB6VAC-FXC-r1 take me to a pic with four ethernet ports on the back. Does it also do wifi?
If I am right, you have two routers in the network. That's a recipe for chaos.

The simplest solution would be to put the R6120 into wireless access point mode. (Look it up in the manual.) Then plug the connection from the WAN port on the R6120 into the NB6VAC.
That leaves the NB6VAC-FXC-r1 to handle the router side of things. The R6120 can then handle anything you connect to the other LAN ports, like the TV, and the wifi from the Netgear.
Be warned, though, that the R6120 is slow. Cable Internet should be a lot faster than 100 Mbps. That won't matter for the TV, but the wifi will not be as fast as it might be.
The good thing there is that the Ethernet ports on the NB6VAC will almost certainly be 1000 Mbps. So your PCs and other things won't get slowed down by the R6120.
- astaibOct 02, 2022AspirantHello,
Thank you very much for that.
Yes the NB6VAC-FXC-r1 has 4 Ethernet and wifi, but the wifi is not passing through the walls to be visible where the netgear is.
I tried doing AP but it didn’t work, maybe I made something wrong. I will try again tomorrow because I’m not at home anymore.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks again.

- astaibOct 02, 2022AspirantWhen I did it, the signal was still not coming to the box (unable to see the tv)
