Model AC 1200 R6260 warranty scam
I purchased this back in January of this year, device didnt work and i spent hours on phone with tech support to get it to work.. Tech support never said I needed to call every 3 months to keep device...
Just wanted to give a quick update that I know its hardware issue and not software because when I unplug the cord from my modem to the netgear router the internet connection lights stay on telling me its sending false signals so netgear can try and charge me for tech support even though its failing hardware issue
- Now I know they are trying to scam me, I called back a second time and hadnt plugged the internet back into the router and they told me they could see that it is connected and then proceeded to tell me I needed to hold the reset in with a paper clip and unplug and plug the power back in 20 time..
