Model R6080

I am trying to reset the router password, was sent a verification code from Netgear, but it says it's incorrect.  Any suggestions?  I've tried to contact support, but the 3 months or whatever has expired.....

       _Which_ "the router password"?  Visit http://netgear.com/support ,
    put in your model number, and look for Documentation.  Get the User
    Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for "Types of Logins".  Further reading
    might not hurt, either.

       What, exactly, says what, exactly, when you do what, exactly?

     

       As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results
    (error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.
