My Netgear router WNR2000v5 does not provide internet for Android TV
Model: WNR2000v5 It works fine with everything except an Android TV box. Any solution?

LIke everyone else says, details matter.
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
What android tv box is it?
How far from the router is the android box?
2 things to keep in mind.
1. the wnr2000 is a base model n300 router. It only has 10/100mbps ports so its already limited in its speeds
2. the wnr2000 is only a 2.4ghz router. 2.4ghz is a slow network and sensitive to interference. Even if you get it connected, it might not have the speed to reliably stream video. Not saying you can't but its going to struggle more than a 5ghz network will

I think this is the most appropriate point. I'm thinking about changing the router.

No Gigabit Ethernet. No 5 GHz wifi.
And never the most capable box in the block.
More trouble than it is worth.
