My phone says I am using WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) but the router setup says I'm on WPA2 (AES)
I was having issues with my Wi-Fi today so I reset my router. Now my phone says that my network has "Weak Security" and that I am using WPA/WPA2 (TKIP). I tried to log into my router on my Mac, but...

What _does_ happen?
"do not" or "did not" is not a useful problem description. It does
not say what you did. It does not say what happened when you did it.
As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results
(error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

_Which_ "the settings"? A C6300 is a dual-band router with multiple
SSIDs (including the "Guest Network" SSIDs). Each SSID can have its own
"Security Options". Are yours all the same?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Specify Basic
WiFi Settings" and "Change the WiFi Security Option"?
