N150 Router Network Set up

Hi all!  New to netowrking computers at small business.  We currently have one computer set up as the "main computer" and then we access it for QB files.  How do I change this to a different computer?  Thank you!

       Do you mean QuickBooks?

What does that mean?  Do you want to replace your old computer with a
"different computer" for some reason, or what?

Try to imagine that you're describing your problem to an audience
where no one knows what you're thinking.

Hi thank you for responding.  Yes, QB is Quickbooks.  We have three computers in the office.  The computer that is used as a server is old and slow but usable.  We bought a new computer and would like to set it up as the "server" computer.  I have saved the QB file to the new computer but I am not sure how to make the new computer the main server on the network.  Is there a setting that has to be changed so that the other two computers will open files from the new server computer?  I apologize if this is confusing.  I am not great when it comes to technology but was hoping I could figure this out.

So far as your router is concerned, there is no "main server".

I wouldn't expect anything on the router to make that decision.  I
know nothing about how your "the other two computers" decide where to
look for your "files".  I also know nothing about QuickBooks.  Knowing
nothing, I'd guess that there is something in the QuickBooks software
configuration which tells it where to look for its files.

Who set this stuff up in the first place?  Ask him/her?

To do that, you might need to know more than I do about QuickBooks.
