N150 WNR 1000 default password invalid after hard reset

Hey guys,

I have just got the N150 WNR 1000 used.

I did a factory reset because I did not know the previous password. So I pushed the "reset" button for 7 seconds. The router restarted. Then I went to 192.168.1.1 to enter the default password: "password". But the interface showed admin login invalid.

(The text could be different because I translated it to english)

I hope you can help me. Let me know if you need additional information.

greetings Julian

    login should be admin

    password should be password

    all lower case.

Hold reset up to 30 seconds while powered on.

thats to log into the gui, not into the wifi.

There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
    Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

    Hello 4KPixel,

I understand that you are having difficulties with your WNR1000 router after performing a factory reset. Below I have listed the correct log in credentials for the WNR1000.

    Please do the following:

Log in to the Router by going to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com and entering the default user name admin and default password password.

    For additional information please navigate to the link below;

Let me know if this helps!

    Best,

    Kevin
