N200 router won't connect to an iPhone with iOS10

I think we have an N200 Netgear router. We've never had any problems with it, but suddenly it will not connect to one of our phones. It is an iPhone 6 with iOS 10. Other iPhones, iPads, and laptops work just fine with it. So, I am thinking it could be an iOS 10 issue. Has anyone had the same problem and/or know how to fix it? I have already tried several things with the phone itself, but it still won't work.

  • I tried changing the channel and it didn't work. So we just got a new router. So far, it's working great!

  • I don't know how to change the channel. But I'm getting a new router.

      That's ok. Try it and report back. 

  • I tried changing the channel and it didn't work. So we just got a new router. So far, it's working great!
  • I went with a Netgear N750 WNDR4300v2. Our other Netgear router lasted us close to 10 years, so I wanted to stay with Netgear.
