n300 router and n300 extender

OK so i have N300 model 1500 wifi router which has connected (badly) to my samsung TV downstairs (smarthub) - so to improve the connection I bought the N300 Wifi range extender - plugged it in pressed the WPS button then realised there is no WPS button on the router. Went to their web page (which doesnt help it just goes to products NOT to www.mywifiext.net to try to fix it - no joy. When I go to the smartgenie is says WiFi is not enabled but gives me no options TO enable it. Im running windows 10 and I can see no option there to enable WiFi. I must have it as the TV and PC talk to each other (slowly) but the hell do i get this extender to work.

Im computer useless bear in mind please !!
