N300v4
Is it possible to use my router as a antenna to strengthen the signal from another completely different network?

What is this N300v4? It is not a Netgear model number.
N300 is a label they put on the WiFi technology on ancient hardware from a decade or so ago.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.
Check the manual for something like Set Up a Repeater. If you cant find that, as microchip8 says, you device may not support that operation.Even if it does, the WiFi technology isn't up to much. There's a good chance that your N300 does not support 5 GHz WiFi.
