The netgear r6400 or better depending how big your home is and how much you want to pay the r6400 is ac1750 router 400 mbis on 2.4 ghz n band and 1.3ghz ac on the 5 ghz band for around the 150 dollar or below mark no need for r8500 unless you have need of its power.
Are you getting these results with a wired or a wireless device? If wireless, are you testing at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? What kind of device is it? Provide the model number and/or Wi-Fi specs, if possible.
