N750 WNDR4300
The router seems to turn off whenever my wife shuts down her laptop. I have been looking for a reason why this might happen. Just started recently, maybe the last month or so. I doesn't happen every time but close enough... N750 WNDR4300 Dual band router. We use it strictly wireless.

What firmware version is on it?
What wireless card is in the laptop and its driver?
- That router is ancient technology. You better look for a replacement.
