Need help with IP and pinging of wireless devices

I have two devices connected wirelessly on my home network. My iPhone, and my Roku TV.

From my desktop computer, I am trying to ping both of those devices with thier IP address and neither one is pinging. They are on my network.

Phone IP: 192.168.1.2

Roku TV IP: 192.168.1.5

Can someone help me out? I need these two devices to ping. I have a Roku app on my phone that I can enter the IP address of my Roku TV and connect my app on my phone to my TV but the two IP's are not communication.

Please help

  • I figured out what the issue was. I had the wireless isolation enabled, once I disabled it, my problem was solved.

    Welcome to the community, RJ1222

What's the IP address of the computer that you used to ping the devices?

Can you ping the IP address of the router?

Is the phone connected to the Internet?
