need to set wi-fi to auto change from g5 to g2 and back when needed
Called my cable provider and since I own the netgear router they told me to call you. My router needs to automatically change from G5 to G2 or 3 when needed. When I am not near router the wifi goes...
A couple things.
1. we're not official netgear support. we're the public support forum where members of the public help out.
2. You have the WNDR4300? Its a pretty base model N750 gigabit router.
3. what firmware is on it?
4. the wndr4300 is dual band meaning it has a 2.4ghz and a 5ghz radio. (not g5, g2, g3?)
5. what are you actually trying to do or what issue are you're having? Your description left a lot to be desired. Since we aren't there, the more you tell us what you're actually trying to do and the issue you're having, the better we can help.
