Hello folks,Just upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and now get errors when trying to activate AC1200 adapter.Do I need to download new firmware?Problem is I can't without internet so I guess I need to move my desktop close to modem and connect via cat5?Is this AC1200 good or should I take a trip to Stapled and get something better? Thanks and think snow!

OK Figured it outNeed to first clik "REMOVE" to remove all existing adapter software in computerThen clik install to install softwarethen plug in the adapter then choose wifi and enter password Whew, that was annoying but glad it works now...

You have to install the drivers before installing the usb device.
You do have the option of downloading the drivers on a different pc and transfering them via jump drive/flash drive to your current pc.
Or burn them to a cd/dvd.
Or moving it and hardwiring it in for setup.

  Unfortunately, I reinstall software from Netgear and still does not work.
  As soon as I select my wifi for the adapter I get Windows "blue screen" error:
  "Stop code: page fault in now paged area.
  What failed: A6210.sys"
  
  Identical thing is happening to two PC's I have, each with its own AC1200 adapter.

    Figured it out
    Need to first clik "REMOVE" to remove all existing adapter software in computer

    then plug in the adapter
    then choose wifi and enter password
    
    Whew, that was annoying but glad it works now...
