microchip8 is exactly correct. You bought a router that isn't gigabit capable.
Its fast ethernet only meaning its connections are 10/100mbps.
You'd need to upgrade to a gigabit router to utilize your speeds.
Or downgrade your speeds and stick with 100mbps.
