Netgear AC1750 Model R6400 and TG862g
I have Xfinity triple play utilizing my own Arris TG682G modem. The wireless capabilities of this modem – to put it politely - suck . . . I therefore have searched several forums looking for a solution to this problem and located information on bridging a cable modem with a wireless router consequently, I purchased a Netgear 1750 R6400. I am now SUPER FRUSTERATED attempting to configure these two electronic devices to work together. I will gladly provide the infuriating process I have gone through in my attempt to bridge these devises however, I thought perhaps I would save you from the tears I sure you would shed on my behalf and first ask if anyone in this group has attempted this procedure and if they were successful. - (Devices in question: Arris TG682G with a Netgear 1750 R6400).
Any recommendations other than trashing the entire system will be greatly appreciated.
Hi smc4937,
Are you looking to setup the R6400 as a separate network in router mode or the same network in AP mode? You can check the link below or page 128 of the user manual also linked below.
