netgear cable modem cm1000

I have a netgear modem, nighthawk router, and orbi mesh network. Every day I lose internet and have to reset my modem. How do I know if this is a modem problem or something happening with my internet ...

any splitters or signal attenuators in the coax line?
your have a lot of channels not locking.

check the line for damage, kinks, old/bad/cheap/corrorded connectors and replace them if there are.
