netgear d6220 not connecting to the internet.
Hi guys, we use iinet NBN - Fiber to the Premises at home. I can access the internet without any problem when I try it with the iinet modem(Technicolor TG789vac V2). However, when I use the netgear d6220 modem, the internet light is orange.
How can I overcome this problem?
By the way, we moved to a new house and everything is the same, including our internet plan.
I was using my netgear modem in the old house without any problem. Likewise, when I try to use it here, the internet light is orange. But with the iinet modem all lights are green and I can use the internet.
I updated the firmware. -not solved.

To what? As always, an actual version number would be more useful
than your opinion of what's "updated" today.Regarding iiNet, I know approximately nothing, but a basic search on
this new Inter-Web thing found an item or two of potential interest:https://help.iinet.net.au/setting-common-non-iinet-supplied-modems-nbn-fttp
https://help.iinet.net.au/how-set-netgear-d6400-nbn-fttp-wirelessWhich suggests that setting the WAN VLANID=2 might be important, as well
as some PPPoE credentials.Note, too, that Netgear routers have a history of mishandling special
characters in PPPoE credentials, so, if yours contain non-alphanumeric
characters, then you might need to take some special steps. See, for
example:
