Netgear Downloader missing after firmware update

Now I need to understand was this functionality removed from R6400 or just hidden somewhere.
hidden/removed would be about the same thing for an end user.
I didn't see in any release notes for the last couple generations about it being removed but if its not there, it's probably removed.
You can always try going back to the firwmare version prior to netgear armor. Armor took quite a few resources to run and in turn, they removed some features so they could add armor. Might have been one of the cut features that wasn't added to the release notes.
I know the R6400v2 had "just enough" capability because v1 didn't get armor. So it makes it more likely that they had to remove as much as possible to make armor work for it.
I don`t think it is related to Armor, because I had ability to enable Armor and still had Downloader.
On version 1.0.4.106 it was fine - I will try with returning back to it and let you know.Good luck!
Yep, when I returned back the firmware Netgear Downloader appears again.
So no more updates for the future ... sucks. Seems like Netgear starts to messing up their software with every new version .. as Skype, Messanger, Evernote, Teamviewer and a lot more apps.
Shame on you Netgear ( I hope you will read this forum)
