Netgear N300 Model EX2700 Cannot Connect to Internet
I am trying to use a used, but factory reset N300 Range Extender. I plug it in, it lights up, and I see the Extender on the wireless list. I click on it and it takes me to the Extender setup page. When I try to start the setup process I am told the network is not secure and it won't proceed any further. Are there any pointers to getting around this? The extender was previously used by the former home owner with their security cameras, but again I performed a factory reset.
I was able to get it to work by using my phone to work with the setup screen.

It's common to get complaints from a modern web browser when you use
the router's/extender's management web site, because the browser is
worried about your sending some user credentials over an
unencrypted/insecure link ("http://" instead of "https://"). The easy
thing to do is ignore the warning, and proceed. Presumably, you're
talking to your own gizmo on your own LAN. If someone can overlisten to
that local traffic, then you're already in big trouble.
Worst case: Use a more cooperative web browser.- mbehumTutor
