Can you explain a bit more about this Wifi hotspot? Is this something on a mobile phone? Something else?
The WNDR3700v2 is a 13 year old router. It is ancient in router technology terms. It will have poor wifi and none of the features that you need to connect it as a "Wifi bridge".
If you need to connect to a mobile/cell phone network, then you may have to invest in one of the many devices designed for that purpose.
What model hot spot is it?
Some have ethernet ports that you could connect the wndr to and put th wndr in access point mode.
