Netgear N750 Router WNDR4300v2
I am trying to set up my router to send a log to my email periodically. I contacted my email IP and have all my information entered correctly. Hit send log, sent, comes back Failed - Message blocked due to spam content in the message. How do I fix this?
I went to my email to the spam mail options and entered the computer mac address I'm using to send it, the Domain Name Server 2 addresses, the router mac address, the Router IP address, etc. What do I enter to allow the spam it claims to be? Am I entering the addresses wrong? Please help. Thank You! rrliz14

The SMTP service can be tricky to set up for logs. Not all email services play nicely, and some have added layers of security that get in the way.
Different Netgear devices also seem to have different ways of working.
You don't tell us what email system you are using. A lot of people use GMail as an intermediary. They can then send the alerts from GMail to whatever address they like.
What message did you get back from the unnamed email system you used?

Your outgoing logs don't carry most of that information.
Just treat these messages like any others that you have to set up to get through your spam controls.
I may be that your email system just refuses to work with those messages. Again, there's nothing that Netgear can do. If you can't get your email system to cooperate, then try a different one. GMail and Outlook are known to work, and they are free.
