Netgear Power Led blinking red DGND3700v2

Hi all

My netgear router (DGND3700v2) power light keeps blinking red.
No other LEDs are lit. So I get no connection to the router at all. I've tried to factory reset, but nothing happens, power LED keeps blinking red.

If the firmware is corrupt, how do I update with no wireless connection to the router?

Any help?
Thanks

If you have a flashing power indicator, then you may be a candidate
for the TFTP recovery scheme.  See, for example:

Uh, use a computer with a _wired_ (Ethernet) connection to the
    router?

The DGND3700v2 is an ageing (2013 with its origins in 2011) ADSL2+ modem router.

Maybe it is just dying of old age.

Did you try a different power adapter? could be the power adapter has gone bad.
