Netgear r4500 wireless router as print server on the network
I just installed the Asus wireless router to replace my Netgear R4500 wireless router since the Netgear was end of service. The Netgear has two USB ports which I used for two old printers, originally parallel, but connected to parallel to USB cables. The printers, HP Laserjet 1100 and 1200, worked beautifully. Unfortunately, the printers will not work with the Asus router.
I have read that I could use the old Netgear router as a print server. I have tried, with no luck. Can anyone help?
Thank you

Try the R4500 in Access Point mode.
