Hi awdsawds,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Please make sure that you do a factory reset after updating the firmware.
3. Only dual band compatible adapters/devices are able to detect the 5GHz band.
4. Please make sure that the 5GHz radio and broadcast is enabled.
5. There should be a 5GHz tab on the desktop Genie if it is enabled.
6. Please check your other 5GHz compatible device/s.

1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Are all your wireless devices that connect to the 5GHz band affected?
3. Have you tried resetting the router?

I'm experiencing a similar issue. I used to be able to connect to my 5ghz network, but for some reason it is not showing up for me any longer (possibly since the firmware update, but I'm not sure) Apparently my network adapter isn't supposed to be compatible with dual band, but I'm pretty sure I was able to connect to it in the past. I've also noticed that I can no longer manage my 5ghz network through the genie desktop app - I have to use my web browser. What's changed?
