Netgear R6260 slow wifi after new firmware
Hello everyone,
I'm having extreme trouble with my R6260 router after updating to firmware V1.1.0.78_1.0.1
While speeds remain good when hardwired to the router, anything with wifi is now going extremely slow. It's happening to connected phones and laptops. I've tried to factory reset the router and make sure it's not my cable modem too but it's the router.
Anyone know how to reset the firmware back to the older version and where I can find that firmware at? Or is there a new firmware coming back soon? I hate having to use cellular data when I'm at home but 80mbps (cellular) vs 5mbps (wifi) is what I have to deal with.
Also, this happens for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks. So it's just the wifi itself.
Help? :(

You can download the older firmware here:
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/R6260
its under downloads and then "view previous versions"
Then just follow the manual firmware option from the manual and use the older firmware instead of new.
