Netgear WNDR 3700 and Roku

Good Morning All!

Well yesterday for some reason all my Roku Express devices (3) stopped finding my NetGear WNDR 3700 dual band wireless. I have never had an issues; but now it seems Roku only picks up 5ghz. Is there a way to shut off the 5ghz on my router so that it is only broadcasting 2.4ghz (which is Roku compatible)? Maybe factory reset?

thanks

Might be a good idea to troubleshoot the Roku devices.

Is the 2.4 GHz SSID visible to other things?

Which WNDR3700 is this? Netgear has made at least five since this router first appeared in 2009. The latest, V5, came out in 2015.

Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.

Check the section in the manual Specify Basic WiFi Settings. The title may be a bit dufferent, depending on your hardware version

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
