new version?
Hello --- I have the GS108 switch --- I see there is now the GS308 -- and the 108 is EOL ---- is the 308 and update to the 108 Thanks

Both are simple unmanaged switches. You aren't going to see much (if any) of performance differences between the 2.
If you're looking at upgrading just for a newer version, the money would be better directed for future upgrades to the router or to a 2.5gig or managed switch.
