Nighthawk 7000 and Brother MFC-J985DW

My wireless printer Brother MFC-J985DW was working fine from my computer and also printing from my phone. It has stopped seeing my computer on the network, although I can still print from the phone.  The printer says it "cannot detect a WLAN access point/router that has WPS or AOSS enabled."

 

I have reset the printer to factory settings deleted and added back the printer without success.  Any ideas?

    1. what firmware is on the router? 

    2. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?

    3. is the phone printing directly to the printer using wifi direct? Or is it the printer connected to your network and the phone printing to it through that?
