Nighthawk ac1900
My router won't recognize an internet connection, although I can hardline to my Xbox, router and modem not communicating.
Motorola docsis3.0 cable modem . Nighthawk ac1900 smart wifi router. I can directly hook modem to Xbox, and get internet from modem, but when I try through router no connection.

Disconnect everything from both (even coax from modem). Wait 2 minutes. connect the coax back to the modem and power it on. wait 2 minutes for it to fully boot. Then connect the lan port on the modem to the wan port on the router. Power the router on and give it a couple minutes to fully boot. Then try setup on it.
